Pokemon Quest vs Smash Hit
Pokemon Quest
Pokemon Quest lets you venture into the mysterious island of Tumblecube which houses a host of cube-shaped Pokemon. Here, you can set off on exciting expeditions with your team of 3 pokemon in search of treasure while befriending new pokemon and giving your current pokemon the opportunity to train and grow stronger. You can set up a base camp in this game too. At your base camp, you can have fun decorating it - decorations actually grant special bonuses to your expeditions and pokemon - and also whipping up some mouth-watering food at the cooking pot to attract pokemon to visit your camp.
From the blocky graphics to the casual RPG gameplay, Pokemon Quest is fun little Pokemon game that's well-designed for the mobile platform. It's as close as you can get to playing a Pokemon game that's similar to a combination of the handheld version of the game and Animal Crossing.
Smash Hit
Smash Hit is a unique and yet entertaining arcade-like game. You will be travelling through an otherworldly dimension where you'll need to break as many glass objects as you can with what seems to be steel ball bearings. The most interesting part about this game though is that everything in the game is intricately linked to the music played in the background as you play. So, this also means that if you happen on a stage where the tune is a lot quicker, you can definitely expect the obstacles to move a lot faster (and hence, harder to aim) too.Bringing its players the stress-release that comes with smashing fragile stuff, Smash Hit is indeed a smash hit on the mobile platform as it has racked up over 100 million downloads over the years. The game is even adapted for the Oculus virtual reality platform (check out Smash Hit VR).
