Quake Live vs Wolf Team
Quake Live
Quake Live is an epic installment of the timeless classic, Quake. Returning for an encore, Quake Live aims to cater to the fans of the fast-paced arcade shooter genre by allowing them to play against other players from all over the world in any one of the game's 100 plus arenas and dozens of game modes. Not to mention, the game is often updated with new arenas from the company behind this revival of Quake as well as from its vibrant community.Quake was once the most competitive shooters in its day and it now aims to retain its title, at least in the arcade-like shooter genre, with this iteration... and we've got to say, it is doing a really great job. The game has already dive into the eSports scene with its own tournaments and it is doing really good. If you long for the good old days for frag or be fragged, this is a game you'll want to play - in addition to Quake Champions that is.
The unfortunate thing about this game is that it was previously free-to-play but now it's not. Considering that Quake Champions is already buy-to-play, it might be good to have a free-to-play version to help convert truly interested players from playing the free version to getting the paid version. It'll just allow the franchise to tap into a whole new pool of potential buyers and players after all.
Wolf Team
Wolf Team is a MMOFPS game that has a very unique and fun gameplay that allows players to switch between the human and wolf forms. Each form has its own strengths and weaknesses and it is these forms that made combat in this game stands out from the other traditional shooter games like Counter Strike or Call of Duty. There is also a large list of weapons, grenades, armor and characters that you can buy in the game, though the best ones will cost you real money.Despite being somewhat a pay-to-win game, Wolf Team is still worth your time, just so you can try out the very special gameplay. Just don’t go into battles expecting to win even if you think you may have ‘leet skillz’… you will be hugely disappointed.
