Unlike the Ghost Recon series, this game features you as a special operative that has been deployed to a devastated New York City after a pandemic swept across the city and many others during Black Friday. It is these poor survivors you'll be standing up for and protecting as you carry out your mission to hopefully clear out the enemies and bring some form of security back into the city.Featuring a tactical cover-based gameplay that Ghost Recon is famous for, The Division provides a game environment where the time of day or the weather can be used to your advantage when planning an assault. There is also the Dark Zone in the middle of Manhattan where you can work cooperatively with a team of players to scavenge for valuable loot left behind by the evacuated military or turn bandit and attack other players to steal their hard-earned loot.
