The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt vs Yandere Simulator
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is possibly the best The Witcher game yet, winning praises and accolades ever since its release. Honestly, you'll may never see another game that's as gorgeous and as nuanced as The Witcher 3. The story-driven gameplay, where every choice you make matters, is excellent; the voice acting spot-on; and the action-based combat is as tactically charged and varied as ever. The world this game is set in is also massive and the underwater combat, albeit a bit simplistic, sets precedence for other potential games to follow (We're looking at you Fallout 4... or maybe 5!). The modes of travel is as brilliant as well - whether you prefer horseback, sailing or both, you'll actually get to enjoy the journeying process due to the realism of it all. In fact, some may even opt for the old-school method of travel over "fast travelling".Although there were some complaints about the incredibly limited inventory at first, the developers were fast enough to address the problem in a patch within the week of the game's release. This only show how much importance is placed on player feedback and well, the developers also win extra points for producing a DRM-free version for GoG.com.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been claimed by many as the best RPG of all time and we definitely have to agree on this one. The game is just magnificent from end to end and if you really enjoy story rich RPGs, you simply must buy this game and try it out!
Yandere Simulator
Yandere Simulator is a very unique stealth-based simulation game that involves a Yandere girl or boy whom you'll be playing as and a senpai that you are creepily stalking. Despite its apparently romantic theme, the game gets dark really quickly when you realize that you will need to get rid of competitors who are gunning for your senpai by any means necessary... and yes, that sometimes means you might have to kill or at least socially destroy your rival. However, there are many factors in play, for example, you can't do anything remotely evil while your senpai is near enough to notice, or that your reputation will decrease whenever you are spotted doing anything incriminating by anybody at the high school you attend. You'll also gain access to a special skill, Yandere Vision, which allows you to have a bit of an unfair advantage since you'll get to see through walls and important figures and objects will be automatically highlighted.Due to the nature of the game, it is safe to say that this is not a game for children or maybe even impressionable teens. However, the concept that the game is based on is quite interesting to say the least and although the game is still in its alpha, the game seemed to have garnered a rather large amount of interest from the gaming community. The game's sandbox build is currently free-to-play but the full game is expected to be a buy-to-play.
