Torchlight: The Legend Continues vs World of Final Fantasy
Torchlight: The Legend Continues
Torchlight: The Legend Continues is a dungeon crawler that manages to combine the essences of both Diablo and Torchlight series and packaged it into a mobile-friendly format. Featuring an auto-pathfinding system, the game feels a lot different than any other "automated games" out there mainly due to the abundance of character customization options (mainly through skill combinations and equipment). Randomization is also added to its gameplay and its maps, so you'll encounter very different scenarios even if the dungeon you are running is the same one. It keeps the game experience fresh and exciting.Similar to the old Torchlight games, there are also pets that you can adopt. These pets have their own set of main and passive skills which can be applied in your combat. Pets can be improved by fishes caught via fishing at randomly-spawned fishing ponds in the game.
Torchlight is one of the most loved dungeon crawlers, possibly second only to the Diablo series, and this mobile version of it does the franchise justice in many ways. So, if you love playing dungeon crawlers on your mobile devices, you should definitely try Torchlight: The Legend Continues.
World of Final Fantasy
World of Final Fantasy lets you set off on an exciting adventure across a mysterious land along with two siblings in hopes of finding their lost memories and learning more about their past. There is a host of likeable characters to meet and interact with, some of which are the familiar Final Fantasy heroes that you've known and loved. Unlike the Final Fantasy formula used in most of their main games, the gameplay in this one is quite different. It is a lot like Pokemon where players get to collect, grow, evolve and battle iconic monsters, but here comes the twist - you battle by stacking these monsters to create strategic monster towers. There are several factors, namely the monsters' size, element and order, in combat that will determine your chances of victory and I'd say make the most of these and game the system. In fact, you can even ride the monsters you've caught as mounts to hasten your travels.World of Final Fantasy may be "merely" a spin-off game, but it is still a Final Fantasy game through and through. The art style and the characters that are in the game is a testament to that. The gameplay in this game is very innovative as well. So, if you think you'd like this game, you might want to check it out.
