Despite being rather minimalistic, the arena itself contains plenty of "food pellets" that you can gobble up to expand your cell mass as well as other obstacles that may either help or obstruct you when you encounter an opponent that you have no way to beat. Total War Arena is a unique arena-based real-time strategy game that lets you enjoy the thrill of medieval warfare in a multiplayer setting. The game pits teams of players, each controlling 3 battalions of troops that they have customized themselves, against each other on beautifully-designed maps in hopes of capturing the other side’s base.

Featuring an in-depth and strategic gameplay where team coordination, troop formations and clever planning are the keys to victory, Total War Arena is a free-to-play title that will definitely make its "parent franchise" proud! Aside from epic battles, the game also has plenty of units and unit upgrades for you to unlock. The same goes for the various commanders they have to offer for each of the four major civilizations - Rome, Greece, Carthage and the Barbarian hordes.
