Angry Birds Match adds a different twist to the usual slingshot-based gameplay that the Angry Birds franchise is incredibly renowned for. In this brand-new spin-off, Rovio delivers a whole new match-3 adventure where you'll not only need to organize the Hatchlings' party but also to protect it from the mischievous pigs. Mix and match up tons of cakes and party decor to solve the many and varied puzzle levels available. You can also bring out the big boys a.k.a. the Angry Birds like Red, Chuck, and Bomb with a match-4, and use explosive Boosters to clear the toughest levels. The best part of this game though, aside from the fact that you can play this game completely offline, is definitely the crazy-cute Hatchlings that you can collect. You can even visit them and put on the new outfits you've unlocked!

Angry Birds Match may have done a complete 360 on the iconic gameplay that had made the franchise famous, but this isn't exactly their first attempt at doing so - There's an Angry Birds-themed racing game called Angry Birds Go! after all. That being said, this new game does help Rovio experiment with various other game genres just to see which new field they can expand the franchise into... and apparently, the casual match-3 genre is a pretty good bet. Faerie Solitaire Harvest is an intriguing, match-2-style solitaire game that’s set in a fantasy world filled with trapped faeries which you’ll have to save. I’ve played my fair share of solitaire games over the years, and somehow, this game still managed to utterly catch me by surprise… in a very good way. In addition to the crazily large number of levels available, it is very strategically-nuanced, focusing a lot more on getting a combo chain going, but still giving you an “out” if you do decide you just want to match some cards and forgo combos entirely.

So, to sum everything up, Faeria Solitaire Harvest truly blows every other solitaire game out of the water. The game is not only a lot more strategic than your average solitaire game; it also comes with great art, an insane number of levels, lots of nice little bonuses such as achievements and collectibles, and of course, if you go premium or purchase the game on Steam, you’ll get even more bang for your buck with an elaborate talent tree, many more worlds to play and explore, pets, and valors that you can use to activate challenges and obtain better rewards.
