Angry Birds Match vs Peggle Blast
Angry Birds Match
Angry Birds Match adds a different twist to the usual slingshot-based gameplay that the Angry Birds franchise is incredibly renowned for. In this brand-new spin-off, Rovio delivers a whole new match-3 adventure where you'll not only need to organize the Hatchlings' party but also to protect it from the mischievous pigs. Mix and match up tons of cakes and party decor to solve the many and varied puzzle levels available. You can also bring out the big boys a.k.a. the Angry Birds like Red, Chuck, and Bomb with a match-4, and use explosive Boosters to clear the toughest levels. The best part of this game though, aside from the fact that you can play this game completely offline, is definitely the crazy-cute Hatchlings that you can collect. You can even visit them and put on the new outfits you've unlocked!Angry Birds Match may have done a complete 360 on the iconic gameplay that had made the franchise famous, but this isn't exactly their first attempt at doing so - There's an Angry Birds-themed racing game called Angry Birds Go! after all. That being said, this new game does help Rovio experiment with various other game genres just to see which new field they can expand the franchise into... and apparently, the casual match-3 genre is a pretty good bet.
Peggle Blast
Peggle Blast , published by EA Games, is a casual puzzle game that has a gameplay that is quite similar to pinball since the game requires you to clear all the pegs on the screen, except that there are no peddles in the game. The game really spices it up this time around with an entire host of challenging obstacles and cool power-ups. You can even play against legendary Peggle masters, like Bjorn the unicorn and Jimmy Lightning, just so you can hone your skills before the final showdown match against Evil Master Fnord comes around!Peggle Blast is also a very social game. Aside from sending your friends some amazing gifts, you can compete with them too.
All in all, if you love Peggle, then there is absolutely no reason for you to not try Peggle Blast. It is a step-up in every kind of way and is guaranteed to keep you hooked!
