Angry Birds Match adds a different twist to the usual slingshot-based gameplay that the Angry Birds franchise is incredibly renowned for. In this brand-new spin-off, Rovio delivers a whole new match-3 adventure where you'll not only need to organize the Hatchlings' party but also to protect it from the mischievous pigs. Mix and match up tons of cakes and party decor to solve the many and varied puzzle levels available. You can also bring out the big boys a.k.a. the Angry Birds like Red, Chuck, and Bomb with a match-4, and use explosive Boosters to clear the toughest levels. The best part of this game though, aside from the fact that you can play this game completely offline, is definitely the crazy-cute Hatchlings that you can collect. You can even visit them and put on the new outfits you've unlocked!

Angry Birds Match may have done a complete 360 on the iconic gameplay that had made the franchise famous, but this isn't exactly their first attempt at doing so - There's an Angry Birds-themed racing game called Angry Birds Go! after all. That being said, this new game does help Rovio experiment with various other game genres just to see which new field they can expand the franchise into... and apparently, the casual match-3 genre is a pretty good bet. Sir Match-a-Lot is a fun, medieval/fantasy-themed match-3 RPG published by Big Fish Games. Aside from the standard match-3 gameplay, this game has chockfull of features ranging from cute (and useful) outfits that you can buy for your hero to fun collectibles like stickers and treasure chests. There are even plenty of challenging arenas to battle in, unique worlds to travel to and explore, and epic bosses to defeat. Every match in the game is incredibly satisfying to make, and you get to spice up your gameplay with tons of exciting power-ups too!

Sir Match-a-Lot is perhaps one of the more underrated match-3 RPG around! The game is insanely addictive to play and best yet, it is possible to become one of the top players here without feeling like you have to spend some real cash.
