Anthem vs Overwatch
Anthem
Anthem is an upcoming, team-based (up to 4 players) action-RPG where you play as a futuristic pioneer called Freelancers, the courageous few who dared to venture out into a gorgeous open world to explore uncharted areas and take on any danger, be it dangerous alien beasts or merciless marauders, they encounter stoically. Wearing the multi-functional and incredibly useful Javelin exosuit, you'll not only get access to the suit's many weapons and abilities, you can even fly, leap, and climb. The world is very dynamic as well, featuring world-changing phenomena like Shaper Storms or other decision-driven world events that spice up the gameplay by a fair bit. There are tons of hidden secrets for you to discover as well.Anthem is slated to be released during fall of 2018. The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Overwatch
Overwatch is one of the anticipated release back in 2016 and it has broken all expectations when the game earned a place among the top 10 most popular competitive MMO shooters out there within the very month it was launched. Aside from breaking records and winning awards, Overwatch is both diverse and simple - diverse in the sense that the game provides players with a wide array of unique characters, each having their own play styles and team roles; and simple in the context that the game is incredibly easy to pick up and play. Of course, being a buy-to-play game, Blizzard also took the wise route and made all characters available from the start. Only skins/ loot boxes will cost you credits (game currency) to buy. As an exclusively multiplayer game, Overwatch offers its players with a nice selection of PvP modes including weekly Brawls and ranked matches as well.Blizzard has scrapped many attempts at creating an entirely new game franchise from scratch, and evidently, Overwatch has not only made it through all the rigorous quality checks; it has become an instant success. Granted that the excellent marketing played an important part in all the fame that Overwatch now enjoys, the game itself still has to be really good to stay successful, don't you think? All in all, Overwatch is definitely worth every penny you spend in it.
