Big Farm: Mobile Harvest vs Shelter
Big Farm: Mobile Harvest
Big Farm: Mobile Harvest is a brand-new, mobile-based farm simulation game developed by Goodgame Studios, the very people behind the successful farm sim, Big Farm. In this game, your Uncle George has willed you his old and pretty rundown farm and it is now up to you to bring the place back to its former glory and maybe turn it into a more successful business! There are plenty of crops for you to plant and harvest, and a variety of farm animals to rear. There is even a crafting aspect in place for you to turn all of those raw produce you get into more profitable goods.Being a simulation game, you'll get to decorate your farm as well. Big Farm: Mobile Harvest also follows in the footsteps of Farmville games by being pretty social. You can team up with your fellow virtual farmers in cooperatives where you can better support each other. To keep things interesting for players all year round, the game even provides exciting events for you to participate in!
Big Farm has always been the best farm simulation game from Goodgame and they have definitely upped their game in developing Big Farm: Mobile Harvest. The game is so much more entertaining to play and it is well-optimized for a wide range of mobile devices too. So, if you're looking for a farm game for your phone or tablet, this is the game to get!
Shelter
Shelter is truly a one-of-a-kind game where you'll get to play as a mother badger who's taking care of her newly-born cubs. Developed by Might and Delight, the game puts you on an exciting yet heartwarming adventure as you travel about with your cubs in tow in hopes of finding the perfect shelter to raise them. In your journey, you and your family will encounter lots of danger and it is up to you - the mama badger - to protect your cubs from harm, whether it is a raging forest fire or a bird of prey.Besides adventure, the game also comes with a second game mode called Nurture. It's a lot like a Tamagochi game where you'll need to head into the game every day (at least once) to give your cubs the stuff they need to survive and also to forge closer bonds with them.
This is one of the breakout indie games of 2013 but it's not the sort of game that will get old with age, so if you love games where you'll get to play as an animal and you enjoy a good story-adventure, then Shelter is your best bet!
