Black & White is a god-mode simulation game (a.k.a. God game) where players are casted into the role of an almighty god who is able to control the fate of an entire world and yet is dependant on the prayers of your subjects in order to increase your power. You can opt to be a merciless or a benevolent god but regardless of your choices, challenges will eventually arise and you will need to do what it takes to keep worships coming in.

Unlike most sandbox games where you can control every single thing built, you can't really force your people to do as you as directly, but you could encourage them indirectly... and this is exactly what makes Black & White such a hit back in the day - a game concept that no one has ever experienced before. Unfortunately, it seems like this game won't be brought back soon and unless you managed to get a old hard copy of the game (and of course, make it work on your much more advanced PC), you may never get to play this game. Evil Genius

Evil Genius is a fun simulation game that allows you to step into the shoes of an up-and-coming super villain. From building your super secret evil lair to recruiting your henchmen to carry out your nefarious plans, if you're looking to dominate the world in a hilariously cartoonish fashion, this game has it all! You can even kidnap government agents to test your "interrogation" toys on, and plant traps and other nasty surprises for anyone who is foolish enough to try to breach your lair. Of course, you'll need to amass a huge group of minions who will spread chaos around the globe in your name to increase your notoriety and power.

Evil Genius is the only simulation game that lets you rule the world as a ruthless, calculative and perhaps somewhat maniacal super-villain with the likes of Gru from the Despicable Me movie series. It has a nice touch of humor too, making the game feels rather lighthearted despite the fact that you're ruining the lives of the virtual people who happen to share the same virtual world as your character. So, if you're feeling a bit mischievous today, you might want to check this game out. Sci-Fi Building
