Brutal.io

Brutal.io , developed by the very people behind Wings.io, is a competitive PvP game where you get to play as a cell of sorts, much like Agar.io, but with a spiky flail to whack other players with. Like all IO games, Brutal.io is very easy to learn but can be hard to master. Similar to Agar.io as well, you will need to gobble up food fragments scattered around the place to grow your main bulk. The arena you'll do battle in is unique too. It has walls you can take cover behind, and there's even a walled-up area in the middle for smaller cells to hide when escaping from larger cells.

Despite the comparison with Agar.io, Brutal.io is not a direct copy of the game. In fact, it builds on what makes the former game so challenging and hence, addictive to play, while subsequently created something that looks and feels different. That being said, Brutal.io is still a game that fans of Agar.io, or any IO games really, would really enjoy. Competitive PvP IO Games Games Like Diep.io

Diep.io

Diep.io is a fun tank-like IO game where players play as pencil-drawn tanks on a piece of white (and sometimes gridded) paper filled with other hostile tanks as well as a variety of obstacles and Polygons. Shooting at Polygons and other players will earn you points to level up your tank to the next tier, unlocking a wide range of upgrades (or "classes" as the game calls them). At frequent intervals, AI-controlled bosses will be spawned allowing players to work somewhat cooperatively to earn a ton of experience points.

Many players are calling out Diep.io as being a clone of the previously popular Tank.io (not sure what happened to Tank.io though), but considering that it's currently the last game standing, I guess it's safe to say that new players will never know about Tank.io but will instead be able to enjoy its legacy through Diep.io.
