Candy Crush Friends Saga vs Found: A Hidden Object Adventure
Candy Crush Friends Saga
Candy Crush Friends Saga is brand-new match-3 puzzle adventure from the Candy Crush franchise, developed by none other than King. This game attempt to move pass the franchise's usual match-3 gameplay by adding in fun new game modes, such as dunk the cookie in the chocolate and free the octopuses and the mammoths, as well as the fact that you can now call on your favorite characters, your "friends", in the game for help. The game rewards are also so much more attractive this time around because you get to collect more friends and their outfits. However, many players have pointed out that the game has a pretty obvious cash-grab scheme - the little piggy banks that you get for "free" can only be opened using 30 Gold Bars. It would have been nice if there's a free option to open such rewards, like a long waiting period, maybe?Overall, Candy Crush Friends Saga builds on the original games by providing its fans with exciting new game modes and friends whom you could call upon for help, while retaining the style that had made the franchise popular among gamers. It is definitely a step up!
Found: A Hidden Object Adventure
Found: A Hidden Object Adventure is a free-to-play hidden object game (HOG) by Big Fish Games that you can play straight on your browser. The game is multidimensional, much like Mystery Manor or any of the other "hardcore" HOGs, as it offers missions where you banish creatures or barter with the locals for some extra energy in addition to the usual hidden object scenes. The story may be a bit cliche - you crash landed on a mysterious tropical island while travelling via plane - but things quickly took an intriguing turn once pirates, magic and a generous dose of mystery are added into the mix. There are, surprisingly, many interesting characters to meet as well - you would have thought the island would be deserted!Despite its old-school looks, Found: A Hidden Object Adventure is quite a find for any fan of the hidden object genre. If you're interested, be sure to give it a try!
