Castle Crashers vs Mortal Kombat X

Castle Crashers

Castle Crashers is a fun arcade-like action-adventure game where you can team up with up to four of your friends to crash some castles and save the princess in distress. Being a lot like a mini-game, Castle Crashers provides players with a wide range of game modes as well as over 25 cute characters who can wield more than 40 different weapons. The combat system in this game is very nicely done as well. Instead of using a simple hack-and-slash system, the game implements an intuitive combo and magic system where using the correct sequence of skills to unleash a combo effect is more important than clicking frantically.

Level up your character and invest stat points into the stat that benefit your hero the most. There are also animal orbs that you can carry around with you, each of which provides you with a unique ability to help you in your adventures.

If all of these sound just like what you like in a game, you should definitely check out Castle Crashers. It can guarantee you and your friends hours of hilarious fun as you hop and hack your way through various locations.

Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X is the latest installment of a game franchise that's basically a spiritual sucessor of combos-based action, fighting games like Street Fighter. As opposed to the previous game, Mortal Kombat X offers a whole new generation of fighters; immersive graphics; impressive new "skins", some of which are classics; well-designed scenarios and a multiplayer mode that provides players with a variety of fun game modes. However, the multiplayer server might get a hiccup or two from time to time and as a result, you may find yourself disconnected from your matches. Because of the drastically upgraded graphics as well you may need a more pwoerful machine to run the game on or you'll experience terrible frame rates.

That aside, Mortal Kombat X is definitely a brilliant and worthy addition to the Mortal Kombat series. It is simply the more superior version of the previous in so many ways. So, if you enjoy a good fighting game, this is definitely the game you'll want to get.
