Cower Defense is a incredibly hilarious tower defense game that's set on the planet of cows. An alien invasion is currently underway on this planet and as cowering as they are, the inhabitants would like to fight back. It now falls on your to help the cows fortify their village (the one at the frontlines) and to set up willing cows as sentries along the path leading into the village.

Aside from the amusingly nonsensical storyline, the game has a nice selection of cow-defenders that you can set up prior to starting the wave of alien invaders, each of them has a special advantage against a certain type of alien. The positions of your cow sentries are also important since the aliens may try to take you off-guard and attack from another alternate path instead. Word Forward is a fairly challenging, word puzzle game whereby the goal is not to make the longest word or even to find the rarest ones – it is to clear the board of all letter tiles by strategically forming words with the letters given. The game also provides plenty of help if you need them, though if you want to get a Gold star for every level, you’ll want to avoid relying too much on the aid given.

Although Word Forward doesn’t add much to one of the many existing formats of word games that are already out there, the stuff it does add manages to help the game stand out. With the variety of strategic tools that you can use, Word Forward feels so much more flexible as a puzzle game since there are many ways you can go about clearing all the letters and solving the puzzles.
