Creativerse is a voxel-based, sandbox MMO game that's still relatively new on the internet. Available on Steam, the game may seem to be a Minecraft clone at first glance, but we assure you - it's most definitely not a clone despite retaining most of the core game concepts that had made Minecraft so popular.

So, basically, you'll be mining for blocks out in the world and craft them into weapons, structures, tools (including mechanical wings that will allow you to fly) and the like at the respective crafting tables. Of course, there's also the not-so-minor detail of surviving to the next day unharmed and well-fed, which mainly involves you building up your own shelter and gathering foodstuff.

Unlike Minecraft though, Creativerse is more of an MMO since it has an interesting storyline, providing players with a sense of direction that isn't obviously present in Minecraft. You'll also have access to more convenience items such as the touchstone which will teleport you to a single pre-linked spawning location... and yes, the location can be set at your shelter as well.

It's admittedly no Minecraft, but some may go as far out as to say that Creativerse is so much better. Portal Knights brings an epic 3D sandbox adventure to your screens with a huge variety of game maps and portals to travel through. You can choose your character from three classes: warrior, mage and ranger. The game brings an open world map where you are free to let your imaginations run wild. Explore the worlds, craft items and build anything you can imagine. You also get to explore beautiful biomes, most of which hides secrets that you can try to find, as you hop from world to world. The game even features a multiplayer mode with up to four players playing co-op or two players in a split screen game as you all try to build your very own world from scratch.
