Crossfire vs Quake Live

Games Like Crossfire

Crossfire

Crossfire is a highly addictive and competitive MMOFPS game that offers players from all around the world a chance to dive into intense PvP shootouts where only the most skillful will emerge victorious. Featuring a classic first person shooter gameplay, the game has some really smooth controls as well as shooting and aiming mechanics that allows skill to trump equipment... but that doesn't mean equipment are completely pointless either. Not to mention, Crossfire even has some really interesting games modes, such as the Ghost mode, in addition to the usual team deathmatches and deathmatches.

Crossfire combines the concepts of teamwork, cooperation, variety and of course destruction into one neatly executed package, and honestly, it does a fantastic job of reminding players why the traditional MMOFPS games were so addictive.

Quake Live

Quake Live is an epic installment of the timeless classic, Quake. Returning for an encore, Quake Live aims to cater to the fans of the fast-paced arcade shooter genre by allowing them to play against other players from all over the world in any one of the game's 100 plus arenas and dozens of game modes. Not to mention, the game is often updated with new arenas from the company behind this revival of Quake as well as from its vibrant community.

Quake was once the most competitive shooters in its day and it now aims to retain its title, at least in the arcade-like shooter genre, with this iteration... and we've got to say, it is doing a really great job. The game has already dive into the eSports scene with its own tournaments and it is doing really good. If you long for the good old days for frag or be fragged, this is a game you'll want to play - in addition to Quake Champions that is.

The unfortunate thing about this game is that it was previously free-to-play but now it's not. Considering that Quake Champions is already buy-to-play, it might be good to have a free-to-play version to help convert truly interested players from playing the free version to getting the paid version. It'll just allow the franchise to tap into a whole new pool of potential buyers and players after all.
