Darksiders is an action-adventure game with a rather dark theme. In this game, you'll assume the role of one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, War. Accused of causing a war between heaven and hell, you have been indicted for your crimes. However, you are given one last chance to return to Earth to search for the true culprits behind the bloodbath and perhaps prove your innocence. Being a Horseman, you have supernatural abilities in addition to an arsenal of weapons that will come in handy when you are hacking and slashing your way across a Hell-controlled Earth. There are tons of ways for you to develop your character as well, giving you the opportunity to customize War to fit your play style.

Although the combat is satisfying, the gameplay can be somewhat repetitive after some time since all you need to do is to simply rack up your combos. The creatures and bosses you'll fighting against aren't too difficult either, making things rather boring after awhile. You can also compete with different players for large scale PvP battles and earn the bragging rights to become the best in the server.
