Day R Survival is a survival-themed, adventure-RPG set in a post-nuclear USSR that may bring to mind a slightly shallower (in terms of storyline) but more modern-looking version of old-school Fallout games. The game boasts of being a hardcore game as you will actually need to take into account various character-killing factors, including diseases or an infected wound, in addition to contending with the detrimental effects caused by radiation, hunger and thirst.There is a pretty in-depth crafting system as well, allowing you to make weapons, clothes and even transport (for faster traveling) by simply scavenging and collecting the parts you need. Naturally, being a "hot" zone, there are plenty of mutated creatures that you'll need to fight against, be it alone or with your friends via the game's co-op mode.
Day R Survival may not be a "Last Day on Earth"-type survival game but if you're looking for a game that may bring back some pangs of nostalgia for old Fallout games, this might just be the game to play.
Horizon Zero Dawn
Horizon Zero Dawn drops you into a future where mankind lives in a tribal existence, the world as you know it is over and now there are giant robotic animals known as “machines” that roam the land. You step into the shoes of Aloy, a lone hunter abandoned by her tribe and looked after by a wanderer called Rost, who raises you to be the powerful character you are. Here begins your adventure, with giant robots and a dark cult known as Eclipse to deal with, the game starts here.Using the third person perspective you are off to try and join one of the 3 remaining tribes, but as you would expect, nothing is that easy. Using your bow, spear and traps you are able to hunt and defend yourself. Strip the robots you beat for materials and learn to make and improve your gear.
