DC Universe Online is an impressive superhero-themed (as evident from the letters "DC" in its name) MMORPG where you get to dive into the marvellous DC universe and engage iconic villains with equally iconic superheroes. In fact, you get to play as a superhero yourself! How did this come about? Well, Lex Luthor used nano-bots containing the genetic material of every DC superhero to infuse normal folk with super powers in order to get them to help combat Brainiac's massive forces.

Although there might be a bit limited customization, appearance-wise at least, due to its lore, you can still make your superhero your own by keeping and dropping skills. The game also features some high-end graphics and an incredibly immersive world where literally anything is possible... after all, humans can now fly and sucker punch an entire building with their bare fists in this game. Greedy Gods: Islands & Treasures

Greedy Gods: Islands & Treasures is a PvP-oriented game that's very much like Pirate Kings where the main gameplay is simply pressing a button to spin a wheel. However, unlike the Pirate Kings, this time around, you play as a godly being who is able to use your holy powers to smite your enemies. You can also build up your own beautiful island - an island that's worthy of a deity of your powers - and customize its look with a variety fo fun themes ranging from Greek Gods to Vikings. Furthermore, this game is much more cooperative in the sense that you not only get to attack your friends to plunder their gold; you can, interestingly, choose to defend them as well.

With so many islands to own and collect (and naturally, to defend), Greedy Gods: Islands & Treasures is the perfect alternative game for fans of Pirate Kings. In fact, they will definitely find the similarities between these two games familiar and comforting. PvP Spin the Wheel Mythology Building
