Dead Space may not supposed to be much of a horror game at first (it was touted as a thriller mainly), but it certainly ended up that way. Featuring a third-person shooter gameplay, the game casts you in the role of Isaac Clarke, an engineer in a massive spaceship stranded in space that's falling apart at the seams. That's not all, the ship is filled with hideous Necromorph monsters - alien-infected crew members - that just love to jump out at you at the most unconvenient moments, startling you at every chance it gets from seemingly every vent, collapsed ceiling, cracked floor etc... well, literally the full 360-degrees. The game can be a tad bit linear but that is exactly what enabled the developers to control almost every aspect of the game from start to finish even with you in it, giving you scares that will make you jump in your seat... and sometimes out of it.

Dead Space made its name as one of the most thrilling shooter game that guarantees to slowly but surely drag you into its incredibly immerse and terrifying world. Dead Space 3 is the third game in the Dead Space franchise and is the first game to truly improved on the original game design. Unlike its predecessors, this game is now set on the frozen planet of Tau Volantis where you'll need to end the Necromorph plague forever with the help of a ruthless soldier, John Carver. There will be a lot of scavenging involved just os you can craft better weapons and tools as well as customize your existing ones. the game experience in Dead Space 3 is quite different from Dead Space 1 or 2, but the game still retained its "horror" and "thriller" label by making Necromorphs, some of which are a lot deadlier due to rapid evolution, jump at you from every corner and sometimes, from the most unexpected places.

Due to the presence of John Carver, you can enjoy the heartpumping experience of Dead Space 3 cooperatively with a friend.
