Deadlight vs Into the Dead
Deadlight
Deadlight is a dark game where you are a ranger called Randall Wayne in a zombie infested world in search of your wife and daughter. Now in Seattle you meet up with a group of refugees heading for what is known to be the last place left: Safe Point. Here your adventure begins, where you must avoid the Shadows (zombies) and the vicious New Law. And this is just the start of your story in this amazing homage to old style side scrolling games. As opposed to most zombie games, here you need to avoid and hide as much as possible as your weapons and supplies are limited. There are lots of cunning traps, places for you to climb, hide and destroy the zombies in your way. The design of the game really grabs you and its many layers and textures really make for a great experience.
Into the Dead
Into the Dead is a fairly simply first-person shooter game that has some of the most intense zombie-themed post-apocalyptic setting that I have ever experienced. To stay alive, you not only need to have great aim; you'll also know when to run. Like most FPS games, the game does have a nice arsenal of weapons for you to use, but so far, this aspect seems a bit lacking since 1. there isn't a lot of variety unless you pay real money and 2. there is no way for you to upgrade your existing weapons. There are also tons of thrilling missions and minigames to complete as well as new game modes and features to enjoy.Although Into the Dead is not perfect, the game does have that special thrill of horror as you do your best to fend off the incoming hordes of zombies. It is definitely the perfect game to play if you're up for a heart-pounding zombie-killing, post-apocalyptic adventure.
