Destiny 2

Destiny 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the impressive action shooter series that takes you on an epic journey across the solar system, Destiny. The Red Legion, under the leadership of Ghaul, has finally destroyed humanity's last safe city, scattering the remnants of the human race in the wind as they hope to find refuge elsewhere. However, the will of the people has not been broken just yet. You will need to reunite whatever Guardians you can find and pit everything in for a last-ditch effort to take down Ghaul and possibly resecure a home for humans to once again live in.

Similar to the original game, Destiny places a lot of emphasis on multiplayer cooperative and competitive gameplay, allowing players to get together and carry out challenging Raids or fight against each other in a 4-vs-4 setting with five different PvP modes to choose from. There are also new adventure missions that will let you discover Lost Sectors as well as public events that you can dive into with other Guardians via the game's new Guided Games (player/group-finding) system. The customization aspect is as in-depth as ever, providing you with a whole new array of weapons, armor and accessories to equip as well.

I'd say the most noticeable difference between Destiny 2 and the original, aside from the new game modes, is the focus on providing players with a rich and cinematic story campaign that will leave players hungering for more. Honestly, if you own a console and is a fan of action-shooters, you'll want to get this game as well as the first. It is as great as they come.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction has you face the deadliest threat Team Rainbow has to deal with: a mutating, alien parasite known as the Archeaens. You’ll drop into the dangerous containment zones and deal with the extraterrestrial threat with a team of three players. Missions range from gathering samples, intelligence and extracting data from computers. They all have one thing in common, though, which is engaging hordes of the infected, as well as the aliens themselves. In typical Rainbow Six fashion, you’ll battle aliens using a massive arsenal of weapons, equipment, and other gear.

Players in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Extraction will go on incursions in sub-areas of a massive map. They’ll have to deal with enemies and objectives that are procedurally generated, meaning no mission is similar. Moreover, the Archeaen aliens have different variants, each with abilities of their own; these range from spikers that can throw spikes and rooters that are more durable than their peers. Compared to its famous counterpart, Siege, Extraction is a slower-paced game where you’ll have to deal with enemies slowly and meticulously instead of explosive firefights.

Overall, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Extraction is a vastly different Rainbow Six experience, but nevertheless, it deserves a good, long look. So yes, it’s best to start going on incursions and stop the alien threat from reaching its peak!
