Deus Ex: The Fall

Deus Ex: The Fall is a mobile spin-off (but now it's available on PC, Steam specifically) of the brilliant Deus Ex franchise. However, as you might have expect from a mobile game/port, Deus Ex: The Fall is incredibly basic with very limited controls. You'll still get to play the way you like whether to go into combat head-on or stealthily, but it's just not as exciting or impactful (as claimed).

The background for the story in this game is somewhat all right I suppose. The game casts you into the role of Ben Saxon, a former British SAS-turned-mercenary with military-grade augments who is desperate to find out the truth behind the drug conspiracy involving the very drug that all augmented humans need to survive. However, many of the events that are supposed to push the story forward seems to fall short of doing exactly that, making these events rather meaningless. Unlike the non-spin-off games, the decisions you make in the game, however few they may be, doesn't feel important enough either. The game ends with somewhat of a cliffhanger, hinting at a sequel that will probably never come.

Deus Ex: The Fall may be a rather decent for a relatively unknown mobile game, but for a franchise as huge as Deus Ex, this game just seems to disappoint everyone. It's not a free-to-play either so if you saved up to buy this game, you might want to continue to save a bit more to get the other Deus Ex games (not the second game though) instead. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is the first of the highly successful steath action game, Splinter Cell, based on Tom Clancy's award-winning novels. In this game, you play as Sam Fisher, a well-trained secret agent of the NSA's off-the-books division, the Third Echelon. As such, you'll need to infiltrate enemy's locations, acquire crucial intelligence and get to the extraction spot by any means necessary. Of course, as a secret operative set in the future, you'll have access to a plethora of incredible gadgets and devices to help you in your missions, but being a stealth-based game, you can't really attract too much attention from the enemies or you will quickly find yourself overwhelmed.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is the sort of tactically-charged stealth game that will make fans of the genre wet themselves in excitement. It's one of the more unique game franchises to have come out of the Tom Clancy brand after all. Third Person Futuristic Stealth
