Ditching Work - Escape Game vs Mad Father
Ditching Work - Escape Game
Ditching Work - Escape Game is an escape-the-room, puzzle game but the interesting thing is that the game has a Japanese-styled humor added to give it a bit of a unique twist. In this game, the whole purpose of escaping the "room", which in this case, is the office where you work, not just to be trapped in another room but to ditch work. The game works by getting you to tap on anything that catches your eye, be it an overturned flower pot or a closed cabinet, in hopes of finding the key to the lock which bars your escape. Sometimes, you may even find collectibles that will end up in your Item Gallery. Need some help with a level? You can watch video ads to get free hints. Hints are numbered and some levels have multiple hints while other may just have 1 or 2.Ditching Work - Escape Game is definitely one of the oddly-relatable, at least for any working adult, games especially when you encounter a day at work that you just wish you could escape from. This game is pretty humorous as well - this is the sort of game where you can feed your coworkers and your boss spoiled bananas just so they will all dash to the toilet, leaving you with the golden opportunity and an unlocked door to skip out on work.
Mad Father
Mad Father is a rather terrifying horror-adventure game where you play as the young girl Aya who has lost her mother and is currently living with her dad. However, during the night of her mother's death anniversary, she was startled awake by her dad's screams and found that, somehow, the home she now lives in is filled with the undead and other unimaginable horrors. With her father's assistant, Maria, by her side, will they be able to escape these unholy creatures and perhaps save her father? The game has garnered plenty of critical acclaim mainly because of the incredible yet uncomfortable (the story was written by a Japanese) plot twists and partly because the game itself contains plenty of really terrifying jumpscares that will make you jump at least an inch off your seat. The voice acting and sound effects are amazing too as they managed to make the already scary game even more immersively creepy with echoes of perverted laughter and screams. The game also has some puzzles for you to solve but they are pretty easy and seemed secondary to the game.
Many players have compared Mad Father with another equally scary game, Helena. So, if you enjoy giving yourself a scare, you might want to check this game out.
