As you go through various eras until the final, hypothetical "nano era", you'll need to invest in upgrading your technology both for your normal citizens and for your military just so your empire can keep up with the times and have both military might and economic strength growing in tandem. Multiplayer is also available but only through LAN.

Travian Legends is a medieval-themed MMO strategy game developed by Travian that's quite similar to their other strategy game, Travian: Kingdoms. In this game, you'll play the role of the leader of either the Gauls, the Romans or the Teutons and set off to build up your village in order to turn it into a formidable stronghold to anchor your growing empire to. Resources will also need to be managed so that your empire's growth will increase at the same rate as your village upgrades. Not to mention, there are tons of research that you can even conduct to discover new technologies that can help to either improve your empire's economy or its military strength. As a bonus, there are quests you can complete, achievements to earn and heroes to recruit as well.
