Era of Celestials vs Otherland
Era of Celestials
Era of Celestials is a brand-new mobile MMORPG by GTArcade, the creators of popular MMOs like League of Angels and Legacy of Discord. The game is set in a fantasy world that's descended into chaos, where you play as the Chosen One - the hero who is to inherit the powers of the angelic demon-slayers, the Elysians. However, even with the power at hand, you still need to nurture and hone it before you can finally go head-to-head with the leader of the demonic invasion, the archdemon.Like many other MMOs published by the company, this game features a slew of exciting and engaging PvE and PvP features, impressive graphics (for a mobile title) and an enjoyable, casual-like gameplay. Era of Celestials even has plenty of gorgeous costumes and cosmetic items, cool mounts and adorable pets to collect and use.
So, overall, Era of Celestials is, without a doubt, a top-notch mobile MMORPG that is specially designed to keep you hooked and coming back for more. It does favor whales over non-spenders in many ways, but generally, you should be able to make it to the top even if you don't spend a single dime.
Otherland
Otherland is a futuristic MMORPG that will definitely tax the very boundaries of your imagination! The game features some stunning and very diverse digital worlds that you can set off and explore to your heart’s content as well as a supposedly action-based combat system. That said, Otherland is something of an acquired taste-type of game we’d say. It can be quite hard to keep up with the game’s storyline if you have not read a word of the books or universe created by Tad Willaims which is what this game is based on. Although the graphics of the game is most certainly impressive to say the least and that the diverse worlds do keep players interested, the game’s gameplay may feel a bit lackluster due to the generic questing and frequent combat glitches.
If you are the sort of player who loves exploring new worlds or that you’re simply a huge fan of the book, Otherland is definitely a game you mustn’t miss. If not, it’s still worth it to give the game a shot, but to stay, well, that’s another matter and it's entirely up to you.
