Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is another spin-off, aside from Fallout: New Vegas, in the Fallout franchise, but unlike New Vegas, this game went halfway back to its roots in terms of its looks (with isometric graphics) while the other half is filled with an amazingly-strategic, turn-based and squad-based combat system. The squad system works well in this game mainly because the storyline in this game is based on the famous/infamous Brotherhood of Steel and apparently, you'll be playing one of the squads, and partly because you have the freedom to actually customize every member of your squad so you could specialize their skills or have them be as versatile as possible.

Despite being one of the most overlooked Fallout games, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is a very strategic game that allow Fallout's younger fan base to catch a glimpse of the old-school Fallout games while still retaining a certain amount of modern-ness in its gameplay back when it was first released. After all, it's the most recent Fallout game that truly pays homage to the really old Fallout games. Turn Based Tactical Post-Apocalyptic Party-Based Games Like Pockie Defense

Pockie Defense

Pockie Defense is yet another unique tower defense game that is has a rather different fairytale theme. In this game, you are given the heavy duty of defending Fairy Tale lands from the evil Witch and her minions but don't worry - you will not do the whole "You shall not pass" sequence alone! Instead, you get to recruit a wide variety of fairy tale heroes and heroines to aid you. These characters are literally your "towers" in this game and they can be upgraded permanently by consuming other lesser heroes. Most interestingly, you can even challenge other players to a fun PvP fight where only a selection of your heroes will go up against an equal number of opponents sent from the other side.

That said, being a free-to-play game does make Pockie Defense a bit skewed towards the pay-to-win side, but if you ask us, the game is still amazingly fun to play and is worth the time you spend on it especially if you enjoy tower defense games. Tower Defense Fantasy
