Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel vs War of Crown

Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel

Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is another spin-off, aside from Fallout: New Vegas, in the Fallout franchise, but unlike New Vegas, this game went halfway back to its roots in terms of its looks (with isometric graphics) while the other half is filled with an amazingly-strategic, turn-based and squad-based combat system. The squad system works well in this game mainly because the storyline in this game is based on the famous/infamous Brotherhood of Steel and apparently, you'll be playing one of the squads, and partly because you have the freedom to actually customize every member of your squad so you could specialize their skills or have them be as versatile as possible.

Despite being one of the most overlooked Fallout games, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is a very strategic game that allow Fallout's younger fan base to catch a glimpse of the old-school Fallout games while still retaining a certain amount of modern-ness in its gameplay back when it was first released. After all, it's the most recent Fallout game that truly pays homage to the really old Fallout games.

War of Crown

War of Crown is an anime-styled, turn-based tactics RPG that's played on a grid. Developed by Gamevil, the game features an epic storyline where you get to follow in the footsteps of Eshirite, the Child of Destiny. In this game, you'll need to recruit heroes and assemble the ultimate battle party which allow you to make full use of each member's unique skills, synergy effects and combat capabilities.

Although most of its gameplay elements and concepts are far from being original, it’s a well-polished title and something that casual players and strategy game enthusiasts should get their hands on. With a deep, tactical battle system, intricate hero management aspects, and an intuitive user interface, War of Crown may be one of the top RPGs currently on the market.

The game was shutdown in early 2017, and although we all are sad to see it go, we thought you could use a list of other games like War of Crown that you can play instead. Check them out!
