The game features an in-depth character development and progression, allowing you to combine any of the six unique classes to from a dual class character, using the game's Devotion system to unlock powerful secondary effects for your skills, as well as equip a wide variety of weapons and armor, each of which can be further enhanced.

The hack-and-slash combat in this game is incredibly visceral as well, making it very satisfying to slay your enemies. There are even factions that you can curry favor with and quests that have outcomes depending on your choices while you lend a hand to help various huamn enclaves to rebuild the world. Grim Dawn can also be played via its multiplayer mode (up to 4 players), which will give you challenges that emphasize more strongly on teamwork.
