With all the classic first person gameplay from the series alongside new items and cooldowns you have a spectacular game. With upgrades to every aspect from the graphics to the interface you have an experience well worth a try, and the online and multiplayer has also been smoothed out making for a fun place to be, not to mention the competitive side of the rankings too. Rigid Force Alpha is a 3D side-scrolling arcade shooter (shoot 'em up) where you assume command of one of the most advanced technologies the United Planet Freedom Forces (UPFF) has ever had. Featuring tons of exciting enemies and challenging bosses, this game provides you with many fun ways to blast various colored projectiles be it amplifying your attack power and allowing you to shoot at the enemies behind you using Force Shards or unleashing your charged attack after collecting sufficient energy orbs from fallen enemies. You can even use Bullet Blade to protect your ship from a hail of projectiles, as long as you have the energy to spare.

In addition to an intriguing, albeit generic, storyline where UPFF's top-secret research facilities are sending out distress signals, Rigid Force Alpha also has two other game modes which will be unlocked as you progress in the main mission and a nice range of difficulty levels.
