Here Roland has vanished, and his wife Catherine is beset by enemies on all sides and the loss of her father all at the same time. Thus begins a brilliant adventure continuing the much loved story and here you are able to play through a campaign in 7 parts, where you get to see the perspective of every main character and hero or villain of the story.

Once more you have the hybrid gameplay of strategy and turn based combat where you have a main character that you can improve who leads armies of soldiers or mythical creatures. Build your town, discover new units to battle with and take your hero to new heights of powers in a stunning game full of action and a deep and brilliant story.

There are 6 campaigns for you to play each with their own special characters and story that introduces them and are a lot of fun to play. Discover the darkness of Inferno, the Elves of Sylvan and the sheer power of the Academy.

This fully 3D game brings a host of the classic gameplay among new features and controls that both simplify the game and make it much more streamlined. Though you still have the map hunting, town burning grid based gameplay you love. Altogether a fun game, despite the new setting and a lot of the old traditions came through in a really great way.
