Insidia vs Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Insidia
Insidia is a free-to-play, turn-based, tactical game that has you taking 4 different fighters into battle to destroy the opponents 3 towers that represent their life bar. Currently in development by Bad Seed, Insidia is in open beta for the moment and is considered an Early Access title on Steam, so it isn’t quite perfect just yet, but the developers have the full intentions on getting the maximum amount of potential out of this one. The game does have some nice ideas and is definitely a unique twist for the turn-based tactics genre (having simultaenous turns and all, much like Atlas Reactor), it just needs some serious refinement, that’s all. There needs to be more characters, their animations need to be a little more polished, and the attacks need to have some decent impact behind their sounds, but the overall experience in the game is a positive one and does make for a fun couple of games here and there.Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the last chapter where you play as Solid Snake as he pursues his arch nemesis, Liquid Ocelot. Set 5 years after the events in Metal Gear Solid 2. Liquid Ocelot is poised to take control of the world's most powerful AI system, the Sons of the Patriots, and if this happens, all the PMCs worldwide will be in serious trouble. The game has been hailed by many as an epitome of the stealth-based action-adventure game franchise and perhaps one of the greatest games of all time. The gameplay is as epic as ever, and the graphics and sound even more so. The storyline is very well-written and paced as well, giving players the chance to experience a new level of immersion that was previously unheard of.
If you own a PlayStation 3, you might want to give this game a try, especially if you've enjoyed any of the Metal Gear Solid games so far.
