Knights & Dragons vs Unison League
Knights & Dragons
Knights & Dragons is a fun fantasy-themed RPG that is quite similar to Artix's popular browser-based 2D RPG, AdventureQuest, in terms of its art style and the humor it uses in its dialogue and storyline. In this game, you play as a Knight-Commander of the Kingdom, who was sent to the kingdom's frontier to push back against the horde of relentless monsters sent to attack the people by the evil Dark Prince. Aside from being able to assemble a team of noble knights, you can even capture battle pets that will help bolster certain stats, in addition to contributing some DPS, during combat. Not to mention, you will also get to build a base of some sort in this game. The base mainly houses some structures that will either help you upgrade or craft armor, or help you by generating coins passively over time. There's also a PvP arena for you to test your mettle against rival knights, a gacha-style Chance Chest where you can potentially win powerful armor sets, and even a guild system.
Knights & Dragons may look like a kid's RPG on the surface, much like AdventureQuest did, but if you really get into the game, you'll find that the game has plenty of depth, a pretty interesting storyline and a host of characters that are quite funny. Unison League
Unison League is an anime-themed RPG that has given rise to its very own cast of unique characters (rather than being based on existing anime characters) as well as a storyline that is definitely manga-worthy. In terms of the gameplay, Unison League has a party-based combat mechanics that allow for devastating “unison” (hence, the game title) attacks. The game also has many features to offer, including real-time co-op quests, intense 10-vs-10 guild battles, a virtual room/ home base that can be decorated, and of course, in-depth character customization. It is quite rare to see a completely new anime RPG these days and Unison League happens to be one of the few that had actually “made it”. Fans of anime RPG will definitely want to get this one for their phones!
