Magic: The Gathering Arena is a spin-off. free-to-playgame from one of the most popular trading card game worldwide, Magic: The Gathering. In many ways, it's very similar to Magic: The Gathering Online since they are both basically the same games with the same rules. However, when it comes to attractiveness, MTG Arena definitely wins hands-down.

Aside from having superior graphics, it has plenty of exciting animations, screen shaking, and sound effects to keep you engaged as you play. The gameplay may be standard but all of these extras do make a noticeable difference. In fact, with all the bells and whistles, the game is certainly well-packaged to be ported to the mobile platform.

However, since the game's still in beta, there is plenty of stuff that fans of the paper game might not be able to enjoy just yet. The cards, for instance, aren't all there yet, and so are the game modes. For a trading card game, the trading feature isn't implemented in the game as well.

That being said, Magic: The Gathering Arena is perhaps one of the best digital MTG games out there, beating out MTG Online and Magic Duels by a mile. The free-to-play game may not be flawless but at least it is not a grind to play, has a fun gameplay, and has plenty of room to expand and grow. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Evolution: TCG is an MMO card game based on the popular card-dueling anime manga of a similar name. It provides you with the original Yu-Gi-Oh gameplay that you can play on your web browser for completely free. With tons of gorgeously and meticulously drawn cards, and challenging opponents to fight against, this is definitely the sort of trading card game (TCG) that will delight fans of the genre!

If you're familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh!, the gameplay in this game shouldn't be too hard to grasp. However, for new players, you just need to understand this one thing weaker monsters can be summoned directly when the card is played but 5 to 6-star monsters will require a tribute to be summoned. Not to mention, more powerful monsters usually have special monster effects (such as Special Summon). These monster effects can really tip the scales of the duel in your favor when played right, so you really need to be familiar with your cards.

Despite its pretty much non-existent storyline, Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Evolution TCG Online is a decent free-to-play TCG. It’s surprisingly challenging and it offers up the sort of depth that fans of the genre would most certainly enjoy.
