Might & Magic IX once more takes you on an intriguing adventure, set in a standalone part of the world of Ashan. Here you are a part of shipwrecked raiders and you are set upon a strange path. The Beldonian warlord Tamur Leng is attempting an invasion, and it falls to you to stop him and save this land from the evil intentions of the warlord. Thus begins an adventure that will take you to the very limit. Though in a break from tradition there are very few references or returning characters from the other games in the series.

With a different set of options, this has a unique rules set too, once more making it much more standalone than you would think. You get to choose the strengths, races and classes of the characters and from there you can continue to improve them, with many of the tactical elements you know, but with a less polished finish this game, while fun is one of the weaker of the series.

Zen Koi is a new breed of simulation game where you get to raise, breed, and collect beautiful Koi fishes. Featuring a casual gameplay accompanied with a calm and meditative soundtrack, this game is perfectly-designed to wind you down after a tough day. The gameplay is quite in-depth too for a casual game. Aside from feeding your Kois and helping them reach their mythical dragon form, you can find other Kois to breed (the game's more social aspect) to produce offsprings with unique patterns to add to your collection. There are hundreds of Japanese carp for you to collect, including some rare ones. Best yet, you can share the Koi patterns you have with your friends!

Zen Koi's rapid rise to fame only proves that being an indie game doesn't really hamper a game's popularity as long as the gameplay is attractive to the players it is targeting.
