Punk Wars vs Sid Meier's Civilization III
Punk Wars
Punk Wars is a turn-based strategy game featuring four warring factions, the Steampunk, the Dieselpunk, Atompunk, and Steelpunk – no cyberpunk though since it would likely be unfair to the other factions. In this game, you’ll get to battle for the supremacy of your faction of choice and dominate the battlefield. Each faction comes with its own unique units, buildings, and special resource. There’s also a map with plenty of Points-of-Interests to explore and events to respond to as you play.In a nutshell, Punk Wars is a 4x grand strategy game that’s designed for beginners to the genre or for experienced players to enjoy some casual play. It’s not as in-depth as many other popular games within its genre, but it does feature a refreshing theme, really cool art and 3D assets, and some fun albeit small-ish maps. So, if you know what you’ll be getting going in, you might find Punk Wars to be a rather fun game to play.
Sid Meier's Civilization III
Sid Meier's Civilization III is a compilation of the third iteration of the award-winning grand strategy game franchise, Civilization, as well as all its associated DLCs, namely the updated and enhanced multiplayer expansion in Civ 3: Play the World and new civilizations, scenarios, and features in Civ 3: Conquests. The game definitely improved on its predecessor by a mile, providing players with basically more ways to play. Due to this, the game has a depth that surpass the other games the franchise has produced. However, its multiplayer has been suspended but if you like, you can still play the game on LAN. Not to mention, many other aspects of the game, like the graphics and some of the features, are becoming rather dated as well. So, unless you plan on playing only single player or on LAN, you might want to grab a slightly newer version of the game if a deeper gameplay is what you crave.
