Silkroad-R vs Torchlight 2
Silkroad-R
Silkroad-R is still a rather entertaining, 3D MMORPG to play despite being a tad bit old-school. In this game, you get to choose between two faction – the Europeans who has a capital at Constantinople, and the Chinese whose capital is at Jangan, customize your character and choose a job. Explore the vast and breathtaking world of Silkroad-R by travelling on the legendary Silkroad and fighting off various creatures and enemies that have made a living out of killing and eating travelers or pillaging the traders’ caravans. In Silkroad-R, it is up to you to decide whether you want to guard or prey the travelers and traders on the road, but one thing’s for sure, once you’ve chosen your path, you’ll definitely strive to become the best at it!Torchlight 2
Torchlight 2 is the well-received sequel of the popular dungeon crawling game, Torchlight. Similar to Diablo's sequel, Torchlight took to making its "dungeons" a little more open-aired, resulting in randomized levels overworld (rather than just underworlds) with nice weather effects to make the world feel more alive. There are more towns/adventuring hubs for you to visit too. The campaign is also reworked to provide players who replay the game a greater challenge to match their now upgraded character and as usual, you'll still have your trusty pet and some fishing to do on the side.Torchlight 2 not only supports mods (like the first game) but it also provides multiplayer so you can dive into its worlds by playing with your friends or with random strangers via the matchmaking service.
The Torchlight series have always had amore lighthearted tone to them and that actually made the game feel a lot more relaxing, and for some, more entertaining to play. Regardless of which part of the dungeon-crawling spectrum you like, Torchlight 2 is the sort of game that every fan of the genre should at least experience once in their lives.
