Sword Art Online: Re:Hollow Fragment vs Zenonia S: Rifts in Time
Sword Art Online: Re:Hollow Fragment
Sword Art Online: Re:Hollow Fragment was originally released for PlayStation Vita, but now it's on PlayStation as well. The re-released version will include a ton of exciting content, such as new scenarios, improved graphics, more female avatars, a much more in-depth character customization, multiplayer support, the option of opting for first-person or third-person view, and a bumped up maximum level cap. The game also has an whole new storyline that is not present in the original work or the anime, as well as a visceral and dynamic combat system that features flashy animations, thrilling combos and burst attacks. Best yet, this version even includes Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment, which was originally released only in Japan for the PlayStation Portable device.Sword Art Online: Re:Hollow Fragment reworked its predecessor, allowing the game to not only play well on modern PlayStation console, but also giving it a nice upgrade so it'd be more relevant to the players of today. If you love Sword Art Online and own a PlayStation 4, you'll definitely want to buy this game.
Zenonia S: Rifts in Time
Zenonia S: Rifts in Time is an anime-inspired MMORPG title - the first of its kind - within the Zenonia game series. Apparently, Gamevil has given up adding numbers to their single-player Zenonia series and have created something of a spin-off MMO. Regardless of the major shift from single to multiplayer, the game still retains the charm that has rocketed the series to fame in the first place - it's Legend of Zelda-like experience albeit in a more anime format.Being an MMO now, the game provids players with an online hub of sorts - a virtual town - to interact with each other and with various helpful NPCs including quest givers and PvP arena ringmasters. The game also features the usual hack-and-slash combat system, many character classes and pretty graphics.
Although it's nice that the game's now a multiplayer game, we feel like the game has not really made the most of its multiplayer function and had restricted itself in terms of the features that are available. Not to mention, having a great storyline has never been this series' storng suit and this weakness is very evident in this game.
All in all though, if you've always wanted to try an MMO version of Zenonia, this game definitely fit the bill in spite of some of its downsides. After all, it's a free game. So, download it today on your mobile devices and give it a try!
